A young fan reportedly went on a hunger strike and demanded to meet "Kangana Ranaut" because he wanted to hand over a personal letter to her.

Sources disclose that the guy in question hung around Leena Mogre's gym where Kangana goes for exercises regularly. However, the security guards at the gym did not allow him to endeavour anywhere close to the actress.

Well, how long this strike of the fan will continue only time will tell but in the meantime Kangana would be feeling happy for herself as her fan following is increasing day by day.

After winning awards for her performance in Fashion, Kangna Ranaut is all set with her next film, Vaada Raha. It is reported that Kangna's role in the film is an extended guest appearance.

In the film, Kangna is paired opposite Bobby Deol who plays the lead role. Kangna's character in Vaada Raha is of a career-oriented woman called Nalini, who is in love with Bobby's character (Duke) and is about to marry him.

According the plot of the film, Nalini (Kangna) leaves Duke (Bobby) when tragedy strikes him and he is paralysed from the neck down.

Kangna's big movie this year is the Hrithik Roshan starrer Kites. There was much controversy around the publicity of this film that focussed only on Hrithik and his other co-star Barbara Mori and left Kangna out completely even though she has a big role in the film.

After several hard-hitting roles, Kangna Ranaut will now play a fearless journalist in her new film, which is directed by Mani Shankar. Incidentally, her role is that of a topnotch journalist who works in a prominent news channel. The reel life character sounds strikingly similar to broadcast journalist Barkha Dutt.

Kangna is quite excited about playing a journalist for the first time. Sanjay Dutt and Irrfan Khan are the two key characters as government agents from different walks of life who come together to raise Rs 32,000 crore in two hours. Kangna, who has a great fashion sense and is known to always experiment with her roles, is very excited about her different look in the film. She will be chopping off her trademark curly tresses and sport a short hairstyle to look like Barkha Dutt.

Kangana Ranaut denies the Rumers

The forever flighty Kangna Ranaut returned to Mumbai from a gruelling month-long shooting of a Telugu film to horrifying rumours of how she had done a nude scene down South.

Kangna is enraged. “Nude? I’d never do a nude scene in my entire life even if someone makes me do it at gun point. I come from a very conservative background. If my parents were to ever see that I’ve crossed the line of morality they’d drag me back to Himachal. Yes, I’ve done aesthetically shot pictures which reveal my physique. And why not? I’ve worked really hard on getting my body muscular and toned.”

But nudes? “No way. I’ve never posed in the nude, never will, no matter how right the zeroes on the cheque are. I’ve an inbuilt censor code.”

So, how did these rumours of going ‘all the way’ start? “You tell me. Journalists started calling up my Telugu director Puri Jagannath in Hyderabad while we were shooting. He, poor man, was so scandalized he almost had a heart attack. Puri is one of the most successful and respected filmmakers of Telugu cinema.”

Clarifying that there are no nude sequences in the Telugu film Kangna says, “Even the much-hyped ‘nude’ scene in Raaz 2 was a hoax. I wore a body suit in the bath tub. I don’t think taking off all of one’s clothes is a cool thing to do.”

Kangna is back in Mumbai for a couple of days only for costume and makeup trials for Ekta Kapoor’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbai.

“I play the only glamour element in the otherwise dark film. This would be my most glamorous role. My look has to go from the late 1960s to the 1970s.”
